A condominium used primarily as a vacation rental, this project focuses on the re-use of existing furniture and cabinetry. Laminate flooring in the living room will withstand the high moisture of a location near the ocean as well as high-traffic use. Kitchen cabinets were reused, but the look completely updated with a deep paint color and new door fronts and drawers. Stark white walls are replaced with soft, warm colors and decorated with nicely-framed poster art throughout the two-bedroom condominium. A commercial-grade carpet was installed in the dining area and bedrooms, also considering the high-traffic in a vacation rental. Bathroom vanities were refinished with a warm glaze with doors and drawers replaced to match the kitchen cabinetry.
